You can now read 2000AD – in DRM-free digital – wherever you are!

2000AD is giving its readers DRM-free copies of graphic novels and comics, even if they buy them through the legendary comic’s iOS and Android apps.

All digital purchases (both past and present) made from any 2000AD platform – webshop, iOS app, and Android app – are now available to download as DRM-free PDF and CBZ files from the 2000AD webshop, thanks to the new Rebellion ID system that ties them all together.

Purchases on one platform will also be available across all of our platforms i.e. if you buy a comic through the app on your Android Phone, it will automatically be available not just as a DRM-free download through the web, but also on the app on your iPad.

And if you buy a digital comic on the 2000AD web store, it will also automatically show up on both our Android and iPad/iPhone apps, so long as you log in with the same email/password.

When future Amazon Kindle and Windows mobile apps are released, purchases made on these platforms will also be available to download through this web interface, provided users use their Rebellion ID email address and password on all platforms.

2000AD‘s apps allow users to purchase 2000AD and the Judge Dredd Megazine on the same day they hit newsstands in the UK, as well as access a huge archive of classic story collections such as Judge DreddStrontium DogHalo JonesSláineAce Trucking, and many, many more. They can also subscribe and receive up to three months of back issues for free, as well as access a vast number of collections of classic 2000AD strips.

The 2000AD iOS app for iPad and iPhone has been a roaring success since it launched in 2012, becoming one of the top-grossing iPad newstand apps in the UK and, with the new Android app, we’re bringing 2000 AD ‘Thrill-power’ to new readers everywhere!
