Despite some patchy rain, over two hundred comic fans happily attended the inaugural Lancaster Comics Day at Lancaster Library on Sunday, organised by Friends of Lancaster Library. The event – promoted with art by local cartoonist Nick Miller – was a success for attendees, creators and stall holders, and a 2016 event is in the works. You can read Antony Esmond’s report on the day here – and here are some photographs from the Day…

Last minute social media assurances that rain would not be a problem seem to have worked on the day.
