Dinosaur Action set to celebrate 100th issue with Top Dino Facts, Dino Blaster and More

Dinosaur Action Issue 100 - CoverBritish publisher Signature Publishing’s Dinosaur Action magazine celebrates its milestone 100th issue next month.

Launched in 2007 as Dino-Mite, the title became Dinosaur Action in 2013. It was Signature Publishing’s first children’s magazine and has since gone on to sell over 1.2 million copies at retail and is available in over 8,000 stores across the UK, from the largest grocery supermarkets to the smallest independent retailers.

Edited by Amanda Clifford, every issue of Dinosaur Action also features the all-new comic strip adventures of Dinoboy – the coolest superhero of the last 65 million years – drawn by Stuart Harrison, written by his partner, Angela Salt.

“That comic just keeps on rockin’!” Stuart tells us. “With dinosaurs you never are short of a story angle.  I could keep on doing it forever and never get sick off it – and the good thing is new dinos are discovered all the time, which  makes my day. Long may it roar!”

“It’s testament to children’s enduring fascination with dinosaurs that this independent title continues to achieve success in a highly populated and competitive market,” a spokesperson for the company says.

“We are incredibly proud of Dinosaur Action, as our first ever children’s title, and the team are still as passionate about the magazine as they were on issue #1,” confirmed Signature’s MD, Danny Morris. “Dinosaur Action filled a gap in the market and its ongoing success is attributed to its unique mix of educational, exciting, fun and slightly scary content, that children want to read and their parents want them to read too!”

The bumper 100th issue will feature one hundred incredible facts about dinosaurs, and will come with a Dino Blaster, 3D dinosaur eraser and an amazing augmented reality dinosaur sticker pack.

Dinosaur Action is the Number One magazine for children that are mad about dinosaurs, as every issue is packed with incredible dinosaur facts, amazing pictures, puzzles, games and activities. For primary children obsessed with the prehistoric past and the amazing creatures that lived during those times, Dinosaur Action proves that a children’s magazine can be exciting, exhilarating and educational.

Produced by award winning Signature Publishing, the company’s other titles include My Little Pony, Transformers Robots in Disguise, My Little Pony Equestria Girls and Littlest Pet Shop, all under license from Hasbro, Milkshake! magazine under license from Channel 5, Pets2Collect, Fairies, Fantastic Funworld, Rainbow Fun and the Girls Love series.

Dinosaur Action 100 is on sale from the 5th February 2016, priced £3.99. It will be available nationwide in all good supermarkets and newsagents. Alternatively you can purchase your copy by calling 01483 779500
