The monthly radio show about comics and graphic novels is back tonight. In Panel Borders: Medical EmergenciesAlex Fitch talks to two teams of creators who use knowledge of medical emergencies to inform sci-fi and fantasy titles.

At Cartoon County, Brighton, Alex explores the Madhouse and Cadavers comics created by Matt Hardy and Edward Bentley, from their Worthing based imprint Mad Robot Comics.

Then, in a panel discussion recorded at Gosh! Comics, editor Karen Berger, writer Sara Kenney, colourist James Devlin and medical advisor Dr. Adam Roberts (UCL) discuss their speculative thriller Surgeon X, which was drawn by the late John Watkiss, who died last month.
