Quatermass: The Quatermass Continuum
This strip is a four page test for a proposed Quatermass comic, art by Mike Nicoll. I came up with the story after readers of Spaceship Away suggested Quatermass might be a good fit for the title, complementing other 1950s characters in the magazine.
Unfortunately, Nigel Kneale's estate have declined our pitch for a licensed comic based on the series, but it seems a shame for Mike's moody art not to be seen, so enjoy...
