Fans of 2000AD artist Carlos Ezquerra, who died earlier this week, have launched a JustGiving page in his memory, which has already raised £2600.
“Carlos was one of the finest comic book artists of his generation,” says Dale Jackson, who launched the page along with a number of other fans of Carlos’ work. “He created many characters. Not only was he a great artist, he was a decent human being who had time and love for all his fans.
The JustGiving Page is to honour and a mark of appreciation that his fans and friends have for Carlos. Monies raised will go to his widow, Conchita Ezquerra, to help in what every way it is needed.
