Artist Keith Page commemorates Notre-Dame cathedral after devastating fire

Commando and Eagle comic artist Keith Page has posted a poignant artwork featuring his crime-fighting heroine Charlotte Corday, marking the devastating fire that tore through Notre Dame cathedral in Paris yesterday.

Many of the Charlotte Corday adventures feature Paris, including “Witchcraft Street”, which features on the character’s official web site.

Keith is working on a number of new projects with writer Stephen Walsh, including a long-form graphic novel about comedian Tony Hancock and an SF-inspired Charlotte Corday tale homaging some famous comic British heroes.

• The official Fondation du Patrimoine initiated appeal for funds to restore Notre Dame after the devastating fire is here: don.fondation-patrimoine.org/SauvonsNotreDame/~mon-don?_cv=1
