Tenth and Thirteenth Doctor crossover kicks off Titan’s Doctor Who: The Thirteenth Doctor Year Two

Titan Comics is to publish a brand-new crossover Doctor Who team-up comic in early 2020, when the Tenth Doctor and the Thirteenth Doctor will join forces to save the universe from the Weeping Angels, with a little help from companion Dr. Martha Jones.

The Beat reports the crossover will be the main storyline kicking off Doctor Who: The Thirteenth Doctor Year Two, starting in January 2020, announced this weekend at New York Comic Con. The article includes images of the variant covers by artists such as Sarah Graley and Andre Pepoy.

Tenth Doctor companion Martha Jones  Doctor Who comics appearances include Doctor Who Magazine strips from Issue 381 onwards and the Doctor Who Adventures comics from Issue 28 onwards, and, occasionally, the Battles in Time comics periodically.  She also featured in the Tenth Doctor strips published by IDW.

One of Martha Jones first appearances in comics was in "Agent Provocateur", written by Gary Russell, with art by Nick Roche, published by IDW

Titan Comics Senior Creative Editor David Leach also revealed more about the upcoming Doctor Who: The Thirteenth Doctor Christmas Special. Dialogue boxes were removed from the artwork shown to preserve spoilers, but there was a glimpse of some very cross-looking toy soldiers ready to mess with anyone who got in their way.

The Beat article includes some information on the hoops both writer Jody Houser and the Doctor Who comic artists sometimes have to leap through working on the title
