Death’s Head Omnibus – Contents Confirmed, Yes?

Marvel’s January 2020 solicitations include the much-anticipated Death’s Head Omnibus TPB among them – a delightfully chunky, 416-page collection of (almost) all the early Death’s Head greatest ‘hits’, scheduled for release on 3rd March, which we trailed earlier this year.

Death’s Head was originally created by Simon Furman and Geoff Senior in the 1980s, at MarvelUK.

While, as previously noted, this collection doesn’t include any of Death’s Head’s encounters with The Doctor (from Doctor Who) this bumper-sized edition does include, for the first time, the Death’s Head/Hulk storyline from Panini UK’s Marvel Heroes #33 – deliciously delineated by Simon Williams, and much more.

Meet one of Marvel UK’s biggest stars… the robot for hire known as Death’s Head] Just don’t call him a bounty hunter, yes? Join the android assassin in this pulse-pounding collection of his original adventures, from distant dimensions to the far future. Death’s Head has his sights locked on an array of enemies… and will encounter familiar faces including the Fantastic Four, the Hulk, She- Hulk and Arno Stark, the ruthless Iron Man of the future] But are you ready for Death’s Head’s mind-bending origin? For that matter, is he?] Buy this book and stay healthy, yes?

Collecting: Dragon’s Claws (1988) #5; Death’s Head (1988) #1-7, #9-10; Death’s Head: The Body In Question (1990) GN; Fantastic Four (1961) #338; Sensational She-Hulk (1989) #24; What If? (1989) #54; Marvel Heroes (2008) #33; and material from Marvel Comics Presents (1988) #76

  1. At last. My Panini collections long since fell apart. Very poor binding. Shame about the missing ‘Doctor Who’ stuff but totally understandable. One day….long into my dotage…..I hope I’ll see a hardback omnibus that collects EVERTHING, including the ‘Transformers UK’ strips he came from.
