Artist Pete Wallbank has kindly shared his the full Batman cover for Issue 24 of Infinity magazine, on sale soon, inspired by the 1960s TV show starring Adam West and Burt Ward.
All 120 episodes from the 1960s live action Batman TV series following the DC Comics superhero are available as either a Blu-Ray or DVD box set. Batman (Adam West) and his sidekick Robin (Burt Ward) fight crime in Gotham City and attempt to bring down villains such as the Riddler (Frank Gorshin/John Astin), the Penguin (Burgess Meredith), the Joker (Cesar Romero) and Catwoman (Julie Newmar/Eartha Kitt). In the third series the dynamic duo are joined by Batgirl (Yvonne Craig), who helps them in their ongoing battle against crime.
The Christmas issue of Infinity – a sci-fi magazine for the genuine fan, covering all of your favourite science fiction movies and TV shows in a fun and informative fashion – is on sale very soon. It also includes features on Blake’s 7 and Catweazle.

The founder of downthetubes, which he established in 1998. John works as a comics and magazine editor, writer, and on promotional work for the Lakes International Comic Art Festival. He is currently editor of Star Trek Explorer, published by Titan – his third tour of duty on the title originally titled Star Trek Magazine.
Working in British comics publishing since the 1980s, his credits include editor of titles such as Doctor Who Magazine, Babylon 5 Magazine, and more. He also edited the comics anthology STRIP Magazine and edited several audio comics for ROK Comics. He has also edited several comic collections, including volumes of “Charley’s War” and “Dan Dare”.
He’s the writer of “Pilgrim: Secrets and Lies” for B7 Comics; “Crucible”, a creator-owned project with 2000AD artist Smuzz; and “Death Duty” and “Skow Dogs” with Dave Hailwood.
