Martin Bower's World of Models

Co-author Shaun McClure has announced there’s not long to wait now for the release of what’s looking to be an amazing book – Martin Bower’s World of Models.

If you love model making models and props from films like Alien, or grew up loving Thunderbirds, then you’re probably already familiar with the work of Martin Bower, one of the most prolific model makers and designers to the film, TV, advertising and publishing industry.

From 1969 to the present day, he has produced over one thousand professional models and worked on many of the science fiction films, TV shows and publications, including the comic, Starlord, that we all know and love.

His numerous credits include the television series Space: 1999 and the films such as Alien, Flash Gordon and Outland. He was also involved in the abandoned ATV Dan Dare TV series.

Out just after Christmas from AmazonUK, Martin Bower’s World of Models offers over 300 pages about Martin’s work, in full colour – and will include several step by step modelling tutorials, too. One to look out for!
