New Paragon anthology delivers “Bulldog” tales and more

I’m dreadfully late to the party on this one, but in case you missed it Issue 24 of the ace comic anthology title Paragon is available now, both in print via Comicsy and digital format via Lulu.

Paragon Issue 24 - Cover

Edited by Davey Candlish, this adventure-crammed independent title includes a classic “Bulldog” strip, “Forgetful Snow”, from Commando writer Jason Cobley, featuring art by 2000AD artist PJ Holden; and another fun episode of “Spencer Nero“, written by Greg Meldrum, with art by Scott Twells, lettered by Jim Campbell… How many comics have you read that have a transgender antagonist and a horde of Nazi leprechauns?

We also get another great looking episode of “Jikan“, written by Mark Howard, with art by El Chivo, lettered by Bolt-01; and a House of Hammer-inspired strip, “Be Careful What You Wish For“, written by Mark Keenan, with art by James Grainger, lettered by Fillipo.

The issue round off with another classic “Bulldog” story from Jason Cobley and Kiri, and a feature on the actor who first played Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon on screen – Buster Crabbe.

Well worth a look – apologies to all involved for not plugging sooner!
