Escape a Dalek! In Birmingham, Reading, Norwich or Basingstoke…

Following up on the success of Doctor Who: Worlds Collide, BBC Studios and Escape Hunt have announced a new Doctor Who escape room, Doctor Who: A Dalek Awakens, available to pre-book now at Escape Hunt Reading and Birmingham Resorts World.

Several other venues, including Escape Hunt Norwich and Basingstoke, will also feature the new challenge later this year.

Step on board a doomed spaceship, where a rogue Dalek has tapped into the power system, in an attempt to recharge its weapons. Should the Doctor’s most feared enemy be successful, it will exterminate all in its path.

As the Doctor’s friends, you must prevent this catastrophe. Shutting down the ship’s power core will ensure the Dalek cannot activate its weapons. However, the ship’s life support systems rely on the same energy source, meaning that shutting down the power would result in the death of all 10,000 passengers.

Teams of up to six are given 60 minutes to solve the puzzles, resolve this impossible situation and prevent catastrophe. Take too long and your destination will be extermination!

Working in British comics publishing since the 1980s, his credits include editor of titles such as Doctor Who Magazine, Babylon 5 Magazine, and more. He also edited the comics anthology STRIP Magazine and edited several audio comics for ROK Comics. He has also edited several comic collections, including volumes of “Charley’s War” and “Dan Dare”.
