“”I wanted to make a fan film for a character I’ve always loved and believed in – a love letter to Frank Castle and his fans,” says Jane of the violent short, which was produced by Adi Shankar.

“It was an incredible experience with everyone on the project throwing in their time just for the fun of it. It’s been a blast to be a part of from start to finish — we hope the friends of Frank enjoy watching it as much as we did making it.”

Thomas Jane’s movie credits include The Punisher, Boogie Nights, The Thin Red Line and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, and he received multiple Golden Globe nominations for his lead role in US comedy drama Hung. Meanwhile, Jane’s best known comic is sci-fi series Bad Planet, which he pens with Steve Niles and Bruce Jones.

As well as helping to create Bad Planet, Tim Bradstreet has worked on a wide range of comic books, movie posters, roleplaying games and trading cards. Comics that Bradstreet has drawn covers for include Transmetropolitan, The Punisher, Blade and Supernatural: Origins. Bradstreet also worked with Guillermo del Toro as concept artist on Blade II.
