Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation

The international exhibition, which will take place at the Arch Café Hanoi gallery in Vietnam in April, is being organised by Scotalnd-based multi-disciplinary artist and illustrator Livy Nelson, whose own recent work deals with psychedelic and surreal paintings, and has also organised numerous exhibitions in the past, and involved in a number of projects including “The Inventors” with Aspex Gallery.

Artists from across the globe are being asked to submit work to the theme of “Decay”.

Giving space to those unable to exhibit work whist equally sharing it with artists fortunate enough to show their work physically, seeking to promote unity whist humbling and inspiring, the call out is asking for artworks that can be sent digitally and reproduced as A3 prints.

The deadline for submissions for consideration is 7th February 2021.

Hanoi-based artists can exhibit artwork in any format or material. 10% of artwork sale will be donated to Blue Dragon. One print of accepted art from international artists will be produced, and artists whose work is accepted for exhibition will be required to send in a high resolution image of your work (at 300DPI) before the second deadline (3rd March). Profits from sale of print will be donated to Blue Dragon

Founded in 2003, the Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation is a charity working in Vietnam to help rescue and care for victims of human trafficking, street children, and other young people. Its purpose is to provide exceptional care to Vietnamese children and families in crisis while creating long-term change for a better world.

Since the first rescue of a child from slavery in 2005, Blue Dragon has reached a major milestone, with the 1000th rescue of a survivor of human trafficking. To date, it has impacted the lives of over 50,000 children and families.
