Sky releases Strike Back prequel comic

Strike Back Prequel Comic

The British action adventure drama Strike Back, created by novelist and former Special Air Service soldier Chris Ryan, recently returned to Sky 1 for a fourth, penultimate series titled Shadow Warfare.

As part of the promotion for the new series, Sky has published a prequel comic (Strike Back: Wet Work) on the Sky website, written by JM Simpson with art by Graeme Howard and letters by Nikki Foxrobot. Here’s a  couple of sample pages…

Strike-Back-Issue-0-Wet-Work_Page_21 Strike-Back-Issue-0-Wet-Work_Page_22Strike Back is a British action and military television series, based on a novel of the same name by Chris Ryan. The series follows the actions of Section 20, a secretive branch of the British Defence Intelligence service (DI), who operate several high risk, priority missions throughout the globe. Now in its fourth season, it will conclude with a fifth in 2014.

The 35-page black and white comic takes the reader right up to the opening scene of this year’s series, enabling fans to catch up with more of Section 20’s finest, as Dalton and Baxter find themselves seconded to Beirut on a life or death mission (isn’t it always?).

With Scott and Stonebridge on hiatus can Dalton hold things together long enough to do her duty and get out of there alive?

The official prequel comic takes you right up to the opening moments of the new season, Strike Back: Shadow Warfare.

• Please note, this comic contains adult content and themes.
