TV Century 21 artist Mike Noble joins Andercon guest list

Veteran comic artist Mike Noble is to attend the Gerry Anderson-inspired Andercon in Heathrow, London, next April.

Mike Noble is the legendary British comic artist and illustrator who began his career drawing strips such as The Lone Ranger in the 1950s. His many credits include his work for TV Century 21, including with Fireball XL5, Zero X and Captain Scarlet. He was also one of the artists to work on Star Trek for the later incarnation of TV21.

In the 1970s and 80s he was a regualra artist on ITV's Look-In, drawing strips ranging from Follyfoot to Timeslip. Mike’s iconic strips are known and loved by generations of Anderson fans throughout the World.

“We’re honoured that Mike will be joining us at the convention,” say event organisers Anderson Entertainment.

Andercon 2014 (19th – 20th April, Park Inn, Heathrow) is the first ever Official Gerry Anderson event from Anderson Entertainment, a weekend dedicated to celebrating the worlds and characters created by the legendary television producer.

Andercon gives you the chance to experience the technical wizardry and creative ingenuity involved in creating Anderson’s groundbreaking puppet shows in the 1950s and Sixties through stunning recreations of actual scale studio sets, alongside a stunning collection of actual props, models and costumes used in the making of his shows.

As ticket numbers are limited, tickets must be purchased in advance. Please note that no tickets will be available on the door.
