Here’s the art for Liam Sharp‘s variant cover to Marvel Comics Revolutionary War limited series’ fourth issue, on sale next month, both inks and colour. The art has been coloured by the exceptional Ryan Brown.
Liam was of course the artist whose take on Death’s Head II was the version Marvel UK Editor-in-Chief Paul Neary captured his vision of the “Image Comics-style” storytelling he was looking for with the whole Marvel ’92 Genesis Project that saw the creation of a slew of characters now being revived in Revolutionary War. The original Death’s Head II stories were written by Dan Abnett.
“It was so much fun redrawing my boy again,” says Liam on his deviantart page. “It’s been a long time!”
