Game of Thrones Season Five hits Sky 13th April, UK hosts behind the scenes exhibition in February

The new, fifth season of Sky Atlantic’s Game of Thrones will premiere on the channel – available exclusively to Sky TV customers and contract free on online TV streaming service NOW TV with the NOW TV Entertainment Month Pass – on Monday 13th April at 9.00pm, the day after it returns in the US. Fans of the show may be interested in this William Simpson Games of Thrones Fan Page on Facebook where, we’re assured no spoilers will ever be shown for future seasons. The acclaimed Judge Dredd, Batman and Aliens comic artist is also the storyboard artist on the show and his work will no doubt form part of the the  Game of Thrones: The Exhibition, open exclusively to Sky TV customers at  Sky Backstage at The O2, London from 9-12 February and 15-17 February 2015.

 

 

If you don’t already know, the show is based on the bestselling book series by George R.R. Martin, Game of Thrones: an epic drama set in the world of Westeros, where ambitious men and women of both honour and ill-repute live in a land whose summers and winters can last years.

Members of the ensemble cast for the fourth season included Emmy and Golden Globe winner Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Kit Harington, Natalie Dormer, Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner. Executive producers, David Benioff, D.B. Weiss, Carolyn Strauss, Frank Doelger, Bernadette Caulfield; co-executive producers, Guymon Casady, Vince Gerardis, George R.R. Martin.

Sky TV and NOW TV customers who have missed – or want to revisit – the series to date can catch up ahead of the arrival of the new, fifth season with Game of Thrones S1-4 TV Box Sets available On Demand with Sky and NOW TV from 1 March.

Dynamite Entertainment publish a comic book series based on George R. R. Martin’s novels, is scripted by fantasy author Daniel Abraham and drawn by Tommy Patterson. The comic intends to follow the story and atmosphere of the novel closely, at a rate of about a page of art for each page of text, and is projected to cover 24 issues of 29 pages each. George R.R. Martin advised Daniel Abraham on aspects of the adaptation and 24 issues have been published to date.
