Charlotte Corday heads into space in new 1950s-comic inspired adventure

Cat Corday of The RSF - Sample Panel

Writer Stephen Walsh and Dan Dare and Commando artist Keith Page are beavering away on their next and perhaps most ambitious Charlotte Corday project yet – Cat Corday of the RSF. We have a sneak peek of just a few frames of what looks like a simply stunning new story featuring the time-hopping, multiverse-spanning female hero who’s also appeared in titles like The Iron Moon (available digitally for iPad from ROK Comics) and Squadron of the Screaming Damned, the latter still on sale from Time Bomb Comics.

The project homages numerous SF-inspired comics of the 1950s and we’re sure many readers will pick up on the influences and Keith describes it as “a Dan Dare type sequel inspired by Quatermass and the Pit, with hardware inspired by the Von Braun study Das Marsprojekt.”

The team are still discussing the project with publishers, more news in due course.
