As we’ve previously noted, Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland is 150 years old this year and to celebrate the Public Domain Review, which archives and promotes out of copyright art and writings has teamed up with Medium to create a special online edition of the book.
Each of the twelve chapters are being annotated by a selection of twelve Carroll scholars, and also illustrated with new remixes of classic public domain illustrations.
The new edition is being published at a rate of two chapters each week, and the final chapter has just been published. The site also features a huge amount of “Alice” related public domain art, including Sir John Tenniel and Arthur Rackham‘s classic illustrations of the book, along with early silent “Alice” films.
