Caption, the small and indie press convention, goes to Coventry

Caption, the two day comics festival – now in its 23rd year – returns on 10th – 11th October. The popular event dedicated to British small press and indie publishing has moved from Oxford to Coventry as, we’re told, there aren’t enough keen people in Oxford to run it at the moment, while Al Davison who has been a regular guest at Caption over the years has welcomed it to the home of his shop in Coventry, the new arts and craft shopping venue FarGo Village.

As ever, the event welcomes comic book fans, self published creators and comic book professionals to mix and discuss their work together, with panels, workshops, small press table, a quiz and film screening. Guests include Leah Moore, Ian Edginton, Hunt Emerson, Laura Howell, Paul Duffield, Paul Rainey, Asia Alfasi and Steve Tanner, plus Charlotte Bailey (Laydeez do Comics, Birmingham) will be convening a special LDC meeting with Sarah Milman, Dori Kirchmair and Robert Brown.

Tickets £3/day or £5 for both days and 10% off for concessions.
