The team behind Thought Bubble, the annual and hugely-popular comics festival held in Leeds, have lined up a terrific week of comics celebration, bringing some of the best creators in the world to the city.

The programme for this year’s festival is now live and contains full details of all the events taking place over the festival week, including venue information and timings, and they’ll be spotlighting some of the key events over the next few weeks on their various social media outlets and blog as the countdown to this year’s Bubble continues.

Tickets are available now for the special two day convention, taking place 14th – 15th November at Leeds Dock, with over 100 guests confirmed, and the full line-up (so far) available here, including the likes of Kate Beaton (interviewed recently here), Doug Braithwaite, Kate Brown, Mark Buckingham, Mike Collins, Al Davison, Nicolas Delort (whose Universal Monsters posters were recently released by Dark Hall Mansion), Neil Edwards, The Etherington Brothers, Henry Flint, Isabel Greenberg, Frazer IrvingJamie McKelvie,  Ben Oliver, Sean Phillips, Monty Nero, Will Sliney, Richard Starkings, Dave Taylor, Chris Weston, Andrew Wildman and many. many more.

And the guest line-up of course doesn’t include the huge number of  exhibitors at the Festival, many regularly featured here on downthetubes – publishers, creators, and retailers, located across three convention halls this year (all located on Leeds Dock) – New Dock Hall, the Royal Armouries Hall and the TB Marquee.

Plus the event will see a number of new book launches, including Beast Wagon Chapter 2 by Owen Michael Johnson and John Pearson, Funk Soul Samurai from Madius Comics; and School of the Damned: Force Majeure (previewed here on downthetubes) – along with plenty of recent releases such as Si Spencer and DIX’s Klaxon, published by SelfMadeHero.

The Festival organisers also just uploaded the entries for this year’s TB Comic Competition onto the website for the digital portion of this year’s exhibition, so if you’d like some new stories to read to ease you into the week, they can be found at http://thoughtbubblefestival.com/events/comicartcompetition/ with the winners to be announced at this year’s convention.
