Brussels Comic Strip Festival Returns for Seventh Year

Brussels Comic Strip Festival LogoAfter its resoundingly successful sixth edition in 2015, the Brussels Comic Strip Festival is already sketching out its seventh edition, to be be held 2-4 September 2016 in the Parc de Bruxelles/Warandepark and surrounding areas.

All of the Comics Festival’s key ingredients will be brought together. Dozens of publishers will set up shop under the big top for three days, offering book signings with over 150 authors. An international pavilion will present works from the four corners of the world while exhibitions, workshops, screenings, and conferences will set the pace for the day’s activities.

Outside of the big top, Brussels will be on comic time throughout the first weekend of September. A little train will run at regular intervals between the city’s various “Ninth Art” centres, and professional guides will offer themed tours. The Balloon’s Day Parade and the Tintin Rally will naturally be on the agenda.
