Cult Empire Comics opens doors to creator-owned submissions

Cult Empire Comics

Cult Empire Comics, the British independent publishers of Vietnam Zombie Holocaust and Horror Show, have announced they are looking for submissions for creator owned comics.

Founded in 2010 by George Lennox, Cult Empire started as an online comic book store selling new and backlog issues. Over the last six years they’ve grown the business by attending various comic conventions up and down the country, and also running a very successful mail order business through their website.

In 2014 they moved into comic book publishing by launched their own independent comic label Cult Empire Comics. Their first two comic brands, Vietnam Zombie Holocaust and Horror Show received rave reviews and proved to be a massive seller. Last year, VZH artist James Devlin was nominated by the Scottish Independent Comic Book Alliance for Best Artist and won Best Cover for Vietnam Zombie Holocaust #1.

“We are already working on new titles for 2016 but we are always looking for artists, writers, colourists, inkers so if you think you have the skills you can email us at cultempire@live.com.”

The closing date for submissions is 31st March 2016.
