Bid to become a Beano character – and support the NSPCC

The Beano Logo 2016Could you (or your child) be the next Dennis the Menace or Minnie the Minx – and support the NSPCC?

Beano Studios is offering the comic’s thousands of fans a once in a lifetime opportunity to star in the world’s most famous weekly comic, including a behind-the-scenes master class at the top-secret Beano Studios HQ.

The chance comes as  one of many incredible auction items in this year’s NSPCC Little Stars Auction, in aid of the national children’s charity.

Simply bid to be the winner of this awesome auction… here’s the offer from the Beano team:

Calling all Menaces, Minxes and Dodgers, this is your chance to be immortalised in cartoon form! You’ll spend a morning or afternoon with the Beano Studios comic creators (in either our London or Dundee HQ), discovering story and art secrets from the people behind Dennis the Menace, Minnie the Minx and Roger the Dodger. Best of all, you’ll get the chance to create your very own Menace character, to appear in an actual edition of Beano! A truly ‘money-can’t-buy’ experience!

The prize is for two children (and their parents/guardians to accompany them) and it is most suitable for boys or girls aged 7-11. The prize must be used by 5th December 2017.

The bidding currently stands at £1000.

The Little Stars auction is a chance for you to bid for amazing, money-can’t-buy prizes – for you or someone who deserves an extra special Christmas gift. The money raised will help to keep more children safe.

Lots – some 160 in all – also include signed Pink Floyd memorabilia, Engino Toys for a year, Harry Potter Live Score Tickets with Full Live Orchestra and tickets to see The Snowman stage show this Christmas.

• The auction will close Friday 9th December 2016 at 12.00pm. Click here to view all the lots
