Campfire’s Beatles Graphic Novel gets Liverpool launch this weekend

The Beatles: All Our Yesterdays - ArtA new graphic telling of the Fab Four’s story – The Beatles: All Our Yesterdays – gets its launch at Write Blend bookshop in South Road, Waterloo in Liverpool on Friday 10th February 2017.

The Beatles: All Our Yesterdays - Cover

Written by Jason Quinn, drawn by Lalit Kumar Sharma, the book is published by Campfire Graphic Novels of Delhi, India.

Jason will be at Write Blend to sign copies of the book and  original Quarryman Len Garry , who performed alongside John Lennon before The Beatles were formed, will also be appearing.

With a little luck, he’ll also be giving attendees a song or two with Merseyside musicians Craig LW and Ben Curtis.

It’s going to be quite a night!

The Beatles: All Our Yesterdays - Launch

The Beatles are, simply, the world’s most enduring and biggest rock band ever. The Beatles: All Our Yesterdays is the story of their struggle for success. The book’s a wonderful ride of a tale, taking readers through the early days of rock ‘n’ roll, and the boys lives in Liverpool during the 1950s. Then you’re taken on the journey with them to Hamburg as they come of age and through grit, determination and masses of talent became the lads who made the 1960s swing.

While there have been other telling of The Beatles story – most notably, in my book, Angus Allan and Arthur Ranson’s “The Beatles Story” for Look-InAll Our Yesterdays does lovingly capture the early days of the band, and Lalit’s art gives the mop tops a real youthfulness that’s sometimes lacking from other graphic telling of the Fab Four’s story.

The book’s a delight for any Beatle or comic book fan
