DC Thomson puts out call for Commando writers

Alongside publishing its submission guidelines for both writers and artists, the team at DC Thomson’s Commando have put out a time sensitive, specific call for specific pitches from authors.

Calling all Writers!

We’re currently looking for writers who are willing to jump into action and pen some exciting adventure stories.

Please read our guidelines before submitting your ideas.

Women at War – from WRENs to the ATS, Land Girls to Night Witches, women have played inspiring and important roles throughout military history. We’re looking for story ideas which see these ladies in action.

ANZAC Heroes – the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps faced some of the fiercest action during World War One. We’re looking for stories which showcase the heroism of these brave soldiers.
