Striker Volume Two - Thamesford to Warbury - Cover

If you’re a fan of the newspaper strip Striker, still running in The Sun (and online, for now, at Planet Striker on YouTube), then you probably know creator Pete Nash is publishing limited edition collections of the strip.

If you didn’t and want a copy of Volume Two then you’d better hurry up, because a message over on the Strikerworld forum has revealed that there are only a few copies still available.

Once they’re gone, they’re gone!

Entitled Thamesford to Warbury, Striker Volume Two is another quality heavyweight hardback of nearly 300 pages, featuring every Striker episode from the start of the colour strips in 1990 to the early Warbury adventures in 1994, before the strip went 3D.

As with the first book, there’s an introduction by Striker creator Pete Nash with his thoughts and memories from that particular period in the strip’s fascinating history.

To grab a copy, write to stating whether you want an unsigned copy @ £25 (inc. p&p) or a signed copy @ £30 inc. and you will be sent you a PayPal invoice

Unusually for a comic, the characters age.

The serialised Striker stories, which currently appear daily on Planet Striker in a motion comic format are often funny, sometimes sad, but always compelling. Here’s the latest “Omnibus”, following a nasty incident with some wasps for long-running character Eric…
