Etherington Brothers get set to storm Oxford’s Story Museum

The hugely-talented Etherington Brothers will be presenting their Lost and Found Comic-Making Show at Oxford’s Story Museum on Saturday 12th August.

Robin and Lorenzo, whose credits include Star Wars and The Phoenix comic – will take you on a humorous, mind-expanding creative journey as they share the SIX steps to making incredible comic adventures.

Exploring how to conjure the beginning of a story with just the words ‘Imagine If”, how to create original motivations for heroes and villains, and the strange and entertaining ways that Time, Details and Culture can bring fictional worlds to life. This is the secret sauce to comic making excellence!

The Etherington Brothers have been making all-ages comic adventures for over a decade, and are the creators of Long Gone Don, “Monkey Nuts”, Freaky and Fearless, “Baggage”, Von Doogan and STRANSKI. They have created comics, stories and art for Star Wars, Transformers, The Phoenix, How to Train Your Dragon, Wallace & Gromit, and more. Their books have been translated into several languages, and they have toured the world performing sold out shows on creativity and storytelling.

They are also the creators of the hugely popular online tutorial series, How to Think When You Draw, which gets several hundred thousand views a month.

The Story Museum celebrates story in all forms and explores their enduring power to teach and delight, with the aim of creating an international centre which will inspire present and future generation.

Founded in 2003, The Museum began by taking stories and storytellers into schools and communities.
