Stephen L. Holland, co-owner of the superb Nottingham-based comic shop Page 45 and Lakes International Comic Art Festival patron talks about the store, the comics industry and the festival in the latest podcast from the fast upcoming event’s team.
Stephen has been a huge supporter of the Festival and its aims, and regularly decamps tons of great graphic novels to Kendal for the weekend, and has a great line up of signings planned in the free Comics Clock Tower.
The team also review Mann’s Best Friend, Maleficium and Spinning and give their thoughts on Fantastic Four. They discuss Batman: The Animated Adventures too, as it’s been 25 years since it appeared on our TV screens. All this and new theme music!
Mike talks all about post apocalyptic stories in comics and Pete talks a bit about his current work and the Kickstarter he’s involved with entitled Copperopolis Part 3, with the Swansea Comics Collective.
Don’t forget to find Pete at Thought Bubble this weekend – and look out for the #BeerShaman beer mats in the Comics Clock Tower and other places during the Lakes Festival in October for a chance to win prizes (prizes to be announced).
