Artist Simon Myers has some wonderful origianl watercolour portraits commissioned by Titan Comics (some used as covers, some not) up on his Ebay page. We thought we’d share some of them to give his work a plug.
Perhaps best known for his work on the Doctor Who comics, Simon created the “album homage” series of covers and the “watercolour portrait” covers for Titan’s Time Lord-inspired titles. He’s also created covers for many more of Titan Comics’ properties such as Assassin’s Creed, Torchwood, Vikings and Sherlock.
Simon has created artwork for Dark Horse Comics’ Ghost and Star Wars Insider Magazine.
Before embarking on his career as an illustrator Simon worked as a Graphic Designer for the High Street Fashion Industry creating garment graphics for, amongst many others, TopMan, Burton Menswear, Ted Baker and Adidas.
