US publisher Dark Horse has announce Criminy, a new graphic novel from Roger Langridge, the Eisner and Harvey award-winning creator of SNARKED, and Ryan Ferrier, the critically acclaimed writer of Kennel Block Blues.
Roger and Ryan unite to co-create this humorous, absurd tale about a family on the run with Ryan writing the Criminy family’s adventures and Roger taking point on the trade paperback’s beautiful art. (There are some smashing pencil pages on Roger’s web site).
An all ages title, Criminy follows Daggum Criminy as his peaceful life is suddenly interrupted when pirates invade his island. This invasion casts Criminy’s family out as refugees into the wild unknown in search of a new home.
Soon, the Criminys find themselves hopping from one strange locale to another, each with their own bizarre environment, people, and challenges; putting Daggum and family in constant peril as they search for a new peaceful place to call home.
