Coming soon to Lochore, Scotland is the third British Comics Swapmeet and Mini-Mart – and the organisers have just released this terrific promotional poster, the work of artist Richard Anthony Pester.
The third swapmeet is scheduled to happen on 29th and 30th September 2018 in the Lochore Miners Welfare Society & Social Club between 12.00 noon and 5.00 pm on each of those days.
As with previous successful meets, this minimart is dedicated to British comics, the focus weekly and Picture Library titles such as Commando, that made up the British comic industry for so long.
This event is not aimed at DC, Marvel, Image, Dark Horse or any of the other American publishers that are so well served by the rest of the current comic convention scene.
Entry will be £1 for adults and free for anyone under 16.
Lochore is a former mining village in Fife, Scotland, that takes its name from the nearby Loch Ore.
