This Joe Colquhoun Stripography was compiled (and then updated) by Steve Holland, who we’d like to thank very much indeed. It was added to over the years by Neil Emery and a chap whose name Neil forgot who helped hugely (if you are him, please write me an email so we can credit you!).

• Roy of the Rovers (Tiger, 11 Sep 1954-7 Mar 1959, written by Stewart Colwyn (Joe’s writing name), Frank Pepper and Derek Birnage.

• Tiger Annual 1957-1960, 1956-1959, by Stewart Colwyn

• Between 13th February 1965 and June 1967 Joe wrote some scripts for Tiger as Stewart Colwyn – but there are no firm details of which stories he scripted

The Roy of The Rovers World Cup Special (published in 2010 by Titan) features reprints from Tiger comic from 1966. Running to 11 episodes, the sixth episode is dated 9th July 1966 (as the strip is featured on the cover).

Hello, I’ve been using this marvellous list recently to buy up some of Mr. Colquhoun’s material – there are a few mistakes which i have noticed (i.e. buying the book then finding he’s not included!!!). I hope to add some updates a soon as I can. Here’s the first ‘errata’ I found; Hurricane annual 1969 features the HMS OUTCAST story not Lion Annual 1969 – although I’m unsure if it’s in Lion 1968). Thanks!
