Ace comics, film and  animation magazine Tripwire has teamed up with one of its favourite cinemas, the historic Phoenix in East Finchley to bring Guillermo del Toro’s Hellboy (2004) and Pan’s Labyrinth (2006) back to the big screen. Here’s the details of how you can get tickets…

For everyone who orders tickets, they will get a free BPRD comic courtesy of Dark Horse Comics.

In Hellboy, a demon, raised from infancy after being conjured by and rescued from the Nazis, grows up to become a defender against the forces of darkness.

In Pan’s Labyrinth, in the falangist Spain of 1944, the bookish young stepdaughter of a sadistic army officer escapes into an eerie but captivating fantasy world…

Tripwire is the magazine of genre culture, examining comics, film, music and so much more. It was created by Joel Meadows as an incidental fanzine and evolved into an comprehensive window into the things people love and consume.

Here’s links to the two films in October…
