US publisher Flesk Publications already successful The Art of Daniel Warren Johnson Kickstarter campaign ends tomorrow (Thursday 14th August 2025).

The Art of Daniel Warren Johnson is offered as a paperback and as a signed deluxe hardcover edition. They’re also offering two premium signed 13 x 19″ prints.

Each book pledge through Kickstarter will come with a copy of Line Time with DWJ and a bonus signed mini-print. (One per backer.)

Daniel Warren Johnson is a Chicago-based comic book writer, artist, and illustrator who has worked on titles for most major US publishers, including Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, and Image. His work also includes the creator-owned Skybound/Image Comics series EXTREMITY, a sci-fi/fantasy title he has written and drawn, and the webcomic, Space-Mullet.

The Art of Daniel Warren Johnson - Edtion Options

The Art of Daniel Warren Johnson showcases the majority of DWJ’s kinetic career since his start in 2012. There are a multitude of sections covering his favourite comic-book covers and pages, along with rarely seen commissions and personal works, preliminaries and cover thumbnails.

This sizable book reveals great detail by sharing extended commentary covering DWJ’s thoughts and pathos for almost every piece. This collection has been methodically put together from the original art and through numerous interview sessions with DWJ over the span of four years.
