Using the world’s only time machine called, ‘The Time Chamber’, Rollo and Danny throw themselves into peril, seeking out the truth behind myths and legends. From werewolves to Greek Gods, the Legend Testers are ready to face any supernatural challenge!

This collection includes the entire run of the “Legend Testers” strip from the weekly comic, Smash!, all beautifully illustrated by Spanish art superstar, Jordi Bernet. The strip ran began in Issues 9 and continued until Issue 75 (April 1966 to July 1967), with seven regular adventures published.

Jordi Bernet Cussó is a Spanish comics artist, born in Barcelona in 1944. The son of comic artist, Miguel Bernet, Jordi’s uncle, Juan Bernet Toledano, was also an illustrator, while another of his uncles, Miguel Cussó, was a writer. Jordi got his start in comics in his early teens, working on the magazine, Pepe Cola, working alongside his father.

He started working for several foreign publishers in the 1960s including some in the UK, illustrating strips in DC Thomson’s Victor and The Hornet, and Fleetway’s Smash! and Tiger.

His career took off in 1982,:when he started working on Torpedo – a strip about a gangster operating in New York during the Great Depression. It was published in several Spanish comics, including Creepy, Thriller, Comix International and Totem El Comix, before getting its own title in the early 1990s. It won the ‘Best Foreign Album Award’ in 1986 at the Angoulême Comics Festival.

In recent years, Jordi has also illustrated several issues of DC’s Jonah Hex comic.

MK Hardy is the pen name for Morag Hannah and Erin Hardee, two geeky women living and writing together in Scotland. They are both communications specialists working in higher education. With backgrounds ranging from museum interpretation to web design, and from science communication to ghost tours, they are devoted to storytelling in almost every aspect of their lives and work. When they are not telling stories they can be found singing in choirs, foraging for fungi, and working on their 1880s fixer-upper.

Rebellion dropped a trailer for their first “Kelly’s Eye” collection into the third Janus Stark collection, but no release date has been announced.

Legend Testers” is also long in the works, with no release date confirmed.
