His previous work for 2000 AD includes Judge Dredd: Titan, The Grievous Journey Of Ichabod Azrael (And The Dead Left In His Wake) and The Ten-Seconders, and he is currently writing Roy of the Rovers for Rebellion.
Simon “Si” Spurrier writes novels and comics. His work in the latter field stretches from award winning creator-owned books such as Numbercruncher, Six-Gun Gorilla and The Spire to projects in the U.S. mainstream like Hellblazer, The Dreaming, and X-Men. It all began with a series of twist-in-the-tail stories for the UK’s beloved 2000AD, which ignited an enduring love for genre fiction. His latest book, Coda, is being published by Boom! Studios at present. His prose works range from the beatnik neurosis-noir of Contract to the occult whodunnit A Serpent Uncoiled via various franchise and genre-transgressing titles. In 2016 he took a foray into experimental fiction with the e-novella Unusual Concentrations: a tale of coffee, crime and overhead conversations. He lives in Margate, regards sushi as part of the plotting process, and has the fluffiest of cats.

With a clear nod to the popular manga collection format that’s proven a sales success for several publishers, The Phoenix comic among them, Rebellion will begin publishing Judge Dredd: Compact Crimes, new 224-page black and white collections of Judge Dredd, priced just £9.99 ($12.99), in January 2027. A new volume will follow each month across 2027 and beyond.

A Forces brat, Kenneth Niemand’s first exposure to the world of Judge Dredd was through random copies of 2000AD circulating in various RAF bases around the world. He now writes radio comedy, video games and, increasingly, bits and pieces of the world of Judge Dredd.
Nick Percival has worked on a variety of cross-media projects; following Judge Dredd ‘Goodnight Kiss’, he painted the Sláine’s epic ‘King of Hearts’ for 2000 AD, worked at Marvel Comics, in film pre-production, MTV, Wizards of the Coast, in video games design and directing computer animation.
Dan Cornwell’s big break came in 2014 when John Wagner and Alan Grant spotted his work and offered him the chance to illustrate a new sci-fi comic called Rok of the Reds. Since then he’s worked on major characters for 2000AD and Judge Dredd The Megazine, including Judge Dredd, Strontium Dog, Rogue Trooper, Major Eazy, Missionary Man and many others. Other works include the critically acclaimed sequel to Rok of the Reds – Rok the God, Spector, and H.M.S Nightshade, all written by John Wagner.
Tom Foster is a relatively new face in the comics world. He is best known for his work in 2000 AD and the Judge Dredd Megazine, but he has also produced work for Imagine FX, Disconnected Press and satirical activists, The Yes Men. He has worked on Death Game for the revival of Battle Action, and drawn the Judge Dredd: A Penitent Man graphic novel.
Richard Elson’s first 2000 AD work was on a Future Shock way back in 1988, and since then he has pencilled Judge Dredd, Time Twisters, Terror Tales and Tyranny Rex, as well as the co-created strips Atavar, Roadkill, Shadows, The Scrap, A.H.A.B., Go-Machine and Kingdom. He has also worked for Marvel Comics on Thor, Morbius: The Living Vampire, Amazing Spider-Man, Journey Into Mystery, X-Force, Revolutionary War and Marvel Zombies.

Since his “Future Shock” debut in Prog 37, the late Brett Ewins became one of the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic’s most beloved artists. Co-creator of the classic Bad Company, Ewins has also contributed to “A.B.C. Warriors”, Daily Star “Judge Dredd”, “Judge Anderson”, “Judge Dredd”, “Kelly”, “Mega-City One”, “Rogue Trooper”, “Ro-Jaws”, “Robo-Tales” and “Universal Soldier”. Beyond 2000AD, Ewins was a co-founding editor of Deadline magazine, and co-pencilled and inked the hugely acclaimed Skreemer series, which he co-created with writer Peter Milligan. After starting his career as an inker at Marvel UK, Simon Coleby made his debut at 2000AD in 1989, working on “Future Shocks”, “Universal Soldier” and “Rogue Trooper”. A favourite amongst 2000AD fans, he has gone on to illustrate “Judge Dredd”, “Low Life” and “Jaegir”. Simon has also produced work for Games Workshop, DC Comics and Vertigo, for whom he co-created The Royals: Masters of War with fellow 2000AD alumni, Rob Williams.

John is the founder of downthetubes, launched in 1998. He is a comics and magazine editor, writer, and Press Officer for the Lakes International Comic Art Festival. He also runs Crucible Comic Press.
Working in British comics publishing since the 1980s, his credits include editor of titles such as Doctor Who Magazine and Overkill for Marvel UK, Babylon 5 Magazine, Star Trek Magazine, and its successor, Star Trek Explorer, and more. He also edited the comics anthology STRIP Magazine and edited several audio comics for ROK Comics; and has edited several comic collections and graphic novels, including volumes of “Charley’s War” and “Dan Dare”, and Hancock: The Lad Himself, by Stephen Walsh and Keith Page.
He’s the writer of comics such as Pilgrim: Secrets and Lies for B7 Comics; “Crucible”, a creator-owned project with 2000AD artist Smuzz; and “Death Duty” and “Skow Dogs”, with Dave Hailwood.
