Cartoonist Hunt Emerson is among the artists whose Life Drawing Art is on display at an exhibition of some of the work of The Broad Bill Life Drawing Group at The Hive in Birmingham from today, Wednesday 20th August, running until the 29th August.



“I started attending a life drawing group about a year ago, but I didn’t want to show my drawings then. I’m ready now!”, Hunt says. “If you’re in the neighbourhood, call in and see it!”
The Hive is a community hub for Birmingham in an historic building, with an award-winning organic café and bakery, craft workshops, exhibitions and event spaces.



Hunt Emerson is renowned for his work in the British underground comics scene, his distinctive style garnering international recognition. The creator of memorable characters such as Calculus Cat, his notable works include Phenomenomix and adaptations of classic literature such as Lady Chatterley’s Lover and The Rime of the Ancient Mariner.
