Independent British publisher Markosia is continuing their Free Comics Digital Giveaway with Slaughterman’s Creed #1, a title from their massive archive that’s also still available as a collection, published back in 2011.
Slaughterman’s Creed is a story of the fall and rise of monsters, where an ethical knife-edge is all that separates hero from villain.
A human trafficker orders the death of a killer who refuses to breach his professional code. Twelve years later, the trafficker’s world erupts in blood and chaos. Barely surviving and crippled for life, the Slaughterman has returned to put the whole organisation to the blade…

Cy Dethan‘s comic writing credits include titles for Markosia Enterprises, Mongoose Publishing and Insomnia Publications, his career taking off in 2006. In 2007, he was chosen to take the reins of Markosia’s flagship Starship Troopers series and has since written numerous creator-owned projects, including the Cancertown and Indifference Engine graphic novels.
He’s also a contributor of short stories to many anthology publications, including The British Comics Showcase and Time Bomb Comics’ Bomb Scares, and is heavily involved in the Unseen Shadows transmedia project, the brainchild of bestselling Amazon author Barry Nugent. His first prose novel, the SF crime thriller Bad Sector, was published last year, and he continues to produce fiction in genres ranging from paranormal espionage to samurai splatterpunk.
Stephen Downey is one half of developer Outsider Games, whose 2016 work includes musical adventure game, Wailing Heights, How to Train Your Dragon, and Halo. His comics work includes Noe the Savage Boy (with Mal Coney), and Jennifer Wilde, written by Maura McHugh, with Rob Curley’s Atomic Diner Comics, along with Flash Gordon for Dynamite Comics, and Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, for IDW.
