Panini UK launches Tales of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in newsagents this week, a new monthly title featuring new strips created by a British team.

Out on Wednesday (8th October 2025), priced £6.99, Tales of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles No.1 is written by John-Paul Bove with art by Ed Pirrie and colours by Kat Cardy.
The new title is a tie-in to the cartoon of the same name, which spun out of the hit film, TMNT: Mutant Mayhem!
Distributed by Marketforce to newsagents, including TG Jones, the new title contains comic strip and activity pages for younger readers, and a free gift.
John-Paul Bove is an artist, colourist and writer, perhaps best known for his work as the regular colourist on Transformers: ReGeneration One, and Drift: Empire of Stone. Outside of Transformers, he’s coloured a variety of artwork on comics such as G.I. Joe, Doctor Who and “Judge Dredd”.

Ed Pirrie is known for his work on Godzilla, Sonic the Hedgehog and Transformers, providing covers for the ongoing Transformers and Beast Wars titles, and more.
Kat Cardy is a self-employed artist specialising in comics and animal art, based in Wales, whose credits include illustrating Silicon Heart, a graphic novel written by Sam Roads, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Marvellous Misadventures of Flapjack, Dreamwork’s Tales, Moshi Monsters, Thundercats and more.
Panini UK has long been the publisher responsible for publishing the Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles magazine and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IDW comics in several countries outside the United States. They also publish TMNT-related sticker albums.
Issue 2 will be in stores from 12th November.
