WebFind: The Spanish Comic Book Rights Catalogue 2025

After the success of their first catalogue published in 2022, last year the Spanish comic association, Sectorial del Cómic, published a new edition of their Spanish Comics: Foreign Rights Catalogue, which brings together in a single publication the majority of Spanish publishers that produce national comics, with the aim of promoting the sale of international rights for the translation of the works into other languages.

Spanish Comics: Foreign Rights Catalogue 2025 (Sectorial del Cómic, 2025)

This latest edition includes 245 titles from 42 publishing companies published in Spain, reflecting the diversity and quality of Spanish productions.

The titles are regularly the focus of discussions between international publishers attending events such as the Guadalajara International Book FairAngoulême Comic Festival and the Bogotá International Book Fair.

Designed by Michael Cubas with a cover by Borja González, winner of Spain’s 2023 National Comic Award for Grito nocturno, the project was developed by Sectorial del Cómic with funding from Spain’s Dirección General del Libro, del Cómic y de la Lectura initiative, coordinated Ministerio de Cultura (the Ministry of Culture), in partnership with the Asociación de Críticos y Divulgadores de Cómic de España (the Association of Critics and Disseminators of Comic of Spain).

Comprising creators, publishers and other entities that make up the comic sector in Spain, the non-proft Sectorial del Cómic‘s main objective is to mediate with administrations and collaborate with other groups in order to promote actions that contribute to the improvement of the sector.

This initiative was born with the purpose of joining forces and creating a collective space in which all the parts that make up the Ninth Aart industry would feel integrated and represented.
