2000AD and Warhammer 40,000 writer Alec Worley is writing a weekly webcomic drawn by Pye Parr for the new mech-warrior tabletop skirmish game Zeo Genesis, designed by Andy Chambers with narrative by Gav Thorpe.
Zeo Genesis is a scalable skirmish miniatures battle game of big armour suits locked in kinetic action. Zeo units go head to head in an escalating shadow war as one of the few human occupied star systems goes dark. You can find out more about it on the official website, and on GameFound.

Gav Thorpe is “Nareative Lead” on the comic, providing what Alec describes as the “big-picture, world-building stuff” on Substack, which features stunning art by Pye Parr, lettered by Buddy Beaudoin, the project edited by Martin Eden.
London-based Alec Worley is a well-known comics and science fiction and fantasy author, with numerous publications to his name. His credits on 2000AD include “Judge Dredd”, “Anderson: The Deep End”, “Age of the Wolf” and “Dandridge”, as well as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Star Wars, for Panini. An avid fan of Warhammer 40,000, he’s written many short stories for Black Library, including ‘Stormseeker’, ‘Whispers’ and ‘Repentia’. He has recently forayed into Black Library Horror with the audio drama Perdition’s Flame and his novella The Nothings, featured in the anthology Maledictions.

Pye Parr is a graphic designer, illustrator and comic book artist, whose career started as the designer for 2000AD, shifting to art, initially on “Intestinauts”, and developing a distinct visual style characterised by bold, kinetic lines and vibrant colours. Beyond 2000AD he’s has helped create a diverse body of work, from comic art (co-creating Petrol Head with Rob Williams, for example) to gig posters, book jacket design, concept art, large scale oil paintings and corporate branding. Clients include Games Workshop, Image Comics, Z2 Comics, Hachette, Penguin, Solaris Books and more.
Other comic credits include Realm of The Damned, a trilogy of blood-soaked black metal inspired horror graphic novels, also written by Alec.
