Rebellion, the publishers of 2000AD, Judge Dredd Megazine and more, has announced the first ever 2000AD silver collectible coin is now available.
Created in partnership with 101 Collectibles Ltd, specialists in fan-first memorabilia crafted from precious metals, this limited-edition coin is crafted in the shape of the legendary Judge Dredd badge, one of the most iconic images in worldwide geek culture.
The very first of its kind, this special collectible coin is a must-have for fans looking for a unique, ultra-rare piece of merchandise that they can treasure for years to come.
Struck from pure investment grade silver and limited to a total of 999 individually numbered coins, this 2000AD collectible coin can be ordered now from select retailers, including GR Reserve, Sideshow Collectibles, EMK.com, Power Coin and the Rebellion Shop.
Drawing on the minting expertise of 101 Collectibles, the coin’s reverse face is engraved with the iconic Judge Dredd badge design and eyelet, while the obverse marks it as legal tender for commemorative coin collectors – featuring the official mintage, metal purity and dimensions. He also edited the comics anthology STRIP Magazine and edited several audio comics for ROK Comics; and has edited several comic collections and graphic novels, including volumes of “Charley’s War” and “Dan Dare”, and Hancock: The Lad Himself, by Stephen Walsh and Keith Page.
He’s the writer of comics such as Pilgrim: Secrets and Lies for B7 Comics; “Crucible”, a creator-owned project with 2000AD artist Smuzz; and “Death Duty” and “Skow Dogs”, with Dave Hailwood.
