The latest issue of Your Days Are Numbered – a free London-based independent graphic fiction magazine documenting the world around creators, comics and pop-culture – will be available from key comic ships in the metropolis from tomorrow (Saturday 13th July).
Published four times a year, each issue is a digest of what’s happening in and around the contemporary graphic and comics scene, with Q&A interview-style features that invite the reader to participate in the conversation.
Issue 6 includes interviews with Gabriel Ba and Fabio Moon, discussing Brazil and its influence on their work; Shaky Kane and David Hine talking Cowboys & Insects and the Bulletproof Coffin; and Brazillian cartoonist Gustavo Duarte, who drew the issue’s cover, talks about his first full length graphic, Monstros!
INJ Culbard is interviewed about HP Lovecraft and Shadow Out Of Time, and Tom Scioli gives a quickfire Q&A about his project, Satan’s Soldier.
Also featured is Krent Able‘s two page lost/last Stool Pigeon strip ‘Morrisey and his Hearing Impaired Driver’, and Paul O’Connell‘s Klopsy & Chops (about the adventures of a ventriloquist and his sociopathic dummy), as well as the usual graphic reviews.
• Your Days Are Numbered Issue 6 is available to pick up for free at Gosh! Comics, Orbital Comics, Dave’s Comics and Eggs Milk Butter, and other stockists in London, Brighton, New York and selected other worldwide destinations listed on the project’s web site in the coming week.
