Comic creator John Wagner, co-creator of Judge Dredd for 2000AD, and Rok the God, is selling a number of comic- related items in aid of charity.
Organised by Doug Brain, they’re being offered in the latest Great British Comic Collection Auction, taking place only on Facebook.
The auction consists of over 30 lots, included some fairly unique ones and lots of signed items, have generated loads of bids already but there’s always room to raise more for the three nominated charities – McMillan, Cancer Research and SSAFA, the UK’s oldest national tri-service military charity.
“There will be no fixed time,” says Doug, “so as to deter possible last minute snipers. I will give a general warning on the previous day.”
“When the auctions are finished, I’ll notify each winner and we can work out postage costs.
“In advance, I’d like to thank you all for participating and I hope you enjoy the very generous items donated by John. There is some great stuff which I’m sure will get you all digging deep in your pockets.
All bids are to be in round £s. No £3.50 bids etc. If two people bid the same amount, it’s the first bid that counts
