Redan’s “Fun to Learn Bing” launches this month

Fun to Learn Bing will launch on 15th July 2020 from Redan Publishing, complementing and extending the ethos of the TV series.

Redan has partnered with Acamar Films to add hit preschool brand Bing to its Fun to Learn range, offering a gender-neutral magazine aimed at children aged three to five years old.

Produced by Acamar Films in association with Dublin-based partner Brown Bag Films, Bing – based on the preschool books created by Ted Dewan – has seen extraordinary success since it launched in 2014.

A ratings hit across many broadcasters including CBeebies in the UK, the series won an International Emmy Award in the Kids Preschool category in 2016 and has recently been announced as a nominee for the Rockie Awards 2020.

The books and show have seen a large amount of licensing activity, and the show itself is screened worldwide.

Each issue of Fun to Learn Bing will contain a mix of stickers, stories, crafts, recipes, a themed 12-page workbook, games and activities – all of which are specifically aimed at nurturing key learning skills.

Notes will be included to help grown-ups guide and inspire children, by recording and rewarding progress and extending the activities into other aspects of their everyday lives.

Fun To Learn Bing perfectly complements and extends the ethos of the Bing TV series by exploring familiar preschool themes throughout the magazine,” says Julie Jones, MD of Redan Publishing. “And just like how Flop guides Bing through the everyday ups and downs of being a preschooler, the magazine promotes the involvement of grown-ups taking time to journey through the activities together with young children to help them grow, learn and develop.

“With our wealth of experience in creating content for very early learners,” she continues, “we feel confident we’ve put together a product that will delight all the little Bingsters out there and their grown-ups.”

Fun to Learn Bing will be available from leading supermarkets and all good newsagents from 15th July, 2020. The title is also available to buy online from the Redan web shop and on subscription (UK only). Do note subscription copies are plastic-free and do not include the covermounted gift
