New “Resident Alien” series by Peter Hogan and Steve Parkhouse heads to comic shops ahead of 2021 launch of TV show

Resident Alien: Your Ride’s Here

With the upcoming SYFY show starring Alan Tudyk due to hit the small screen some time in 2021, now is the perfect time to discover Peter Hogan and Steve Parkhouse’s brilliant SF comics series, Resident Alien… And, good news! November sees the launch of a brand-new miniseries in Resident Alien: Your Ride’s Here

In this all-new series from Peter and Steve, Harry’s learned a lot about himself and the possibility that other aliens have been stranded on Earth, too. He needs to figure out what to do with Honey, the only resident in Patience, United States, who sees him in his true alien form, as well as deal with his feelings toward Asta, his best friend.

Harry’s been stranded in a small town pretending to be a human doctor for so long, you see, that loneliness was bound to creep in…

“I’m so happy to be working on this final volume before our babies fly the nest and make their way in the big world of television,” says Steve. “I’ll miss them all, except maybe Delbert. You’ll find revelations and surprises in this volume that even I wasn’t expecting. And make sure you catch the show…it’s gonna be a doozy!”

“I don’t want to spoil any surprises, but I think you’re in for quite a ride with this one,” Peter enthuses. “Hang on tight, and enjoy it!”

“Resident Alien: Your Ride’s Here is Volume 6 in our main alien Harry’s adventures,” series editor Philip Simon told SYFY WIRE. “Harry is caught, his greatest fears are realised, and someone’s definitely abducted.

“This new series is the culmination of a partnership between Peter Hogan and Steve Parkhouse that began about 10 years ago and first started appearing in the pages of Dark Horse Presents in 2011. It’s the finale to what the team has been referring to as “Harry’s First Arc” — and we’ve been calling the upcoming Volume 6 “the end of Harry’s First Arc” since we were working on volume 3!”
