Bleeding Cool Magazine Issue 6

The latest issue of Bleeding Cool Magazine (#6), on sale now in all good comic shops, includes two features of note for fans of British comic creators, the issue headlining US publisher Boom!’s new Robocop series with an exclusive sneak-peak.

Writer Kieron Gillen is featured in a huge interview covering his career and a special look at his next projects, including a gallery from Ryan Kelly! And go behind the history of Watchmen with a feature that looks at how Alan Moore created one of the greatest comic book series of all time.

Bleeding Cool Magazine also talks to some of the most recognizable COSPLAYERS in the field with a revealing interview and exclusive costume pictorial!

Editor Rich Johnston also dissects the biggest comic events of 2013 giving his unique perspective on the big winners and the epic losers, while Brendon Connely takes you behind the scenes of the Autumn film features with exclusive photos and scoops on Hollywood’s biggest events.

The founder of downthetubes, John works as a comics editor, writer, as Creative Consultant on the Dan Dare audio adventures for B7 Media, and on promotional work for the Lakes International Comic Art Festival. Working in British comics publishing for over 30 years, his credits include editor of titles such as Doctor Who Magazine, Star Trek Magazine and Babylon 5 Magazine. He also edited the comics anthology STRIP Magazine and edited several audio comics for ROK Comics. He has also edited several comic collections, including volumes of “Charley’s War and “Dan Dare”. He’s the writer of “Crucible”, a creator-owned project with 2000AD artist Smuzz, published on Tapastic; and “Death Duty” and “Skow Dogs” with Dave Hailwood for digital comic 100% Biodegradable.
